Today is a very hard day for Little Mario, team YGR, and the rest of the motorcycle roadracing community. Today we lost an amazing young friend and racer, Peter Lenz. Peter lost his life doing what he loved. Our most sincere confolences and prayers are with Peter's family and friends. RIP Peter, and GOD speed!

OK folks, here it is. We are doing a fund raiser for Mario so that we can get him and his pops to Spain for the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup Tryouts on September 13th - 15th. Red Line MotorSports has stepped up big time and are putting on an after hours party for Mario at the shop. We will have food, drinks, prizes, and a silent auction and even get to enjoy watching the UFC fight. All proceeds go towards Mario's racing efforts! Mario recieved word today that he has been invited to the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup 2011 Season Try Outs in Monteblanco, Spain!!!! Mario is very, very excited and looks forward to putting on a show for all of the judges on September 13th - 15th.

Little Mario was in attendance at the Laguna Seca MotoGP races last weekend. Mario met and got every one of the MotoGP racers to sign his cast and get pictures with them.

Mario was involved in a very nasty crash at Rainier today. Mario suffered a severe concussion and a badly broken right hand. Doctors are saying he will be out of commission for the next 6 weeks. Mario should be back in time for the September WMRRA round.

Another unbelievable race day for Mario. The Kirk Potter Racing Honda RS125GP bike took Mario once again to the top of the podium.

Mario had an amazing day of racing. Mario raced a total of 3 classes on the Kirk Potter Honda RS125GP bike. Today was designated to run the makeup races from April's canceled races.

WOW, what a weekend! Mario visited Spokane Raceway Park for the first time this past weekend. Mario attended a track day on Friday to come to grips with his bikes on a new track. Mario had a very tough weekend with two crashes and a mechanical. However, Mario was able to close out the weekend with a win in the 125GP class, increasing his championship lead.

The Rainier season opener was yesterday. Some of the best racing in the PNW and Mario was right in the middle of it all. Mario raced his RedLine MotorSports Yamaha YZ250F and got two solid finishes.

125/150/250 DTX- 4th Place

Mario had a great first outing on his RedLine MotorSports Yamaha YZ250F at the flat track races at CastleRock. Mario raced two classes on the 250. Mario was very pleased with his results and hopes to be back in form this next weekend at Rainier.

Mario had an amazing end to an amazing weekend of racing. Mario raced three classes again today and won yet another race on his Kirk Potter Racing Honda RS125GP bike. Mario took the 125GP Class win today while fighting with fellow racer David Mathews. Mario also took a 3rd place finish aboard his Kirk Potter Racing Honda RS125GP bike in the 250GP Class. Unfortunately, Mario had a small get off in T2 while dicing it up in the 600 SB race. His RedLine MotorSports Yamaha R6 only had minor cosmetic damage and Mario was able to just walk away from the crash unscathed.

Mario had an amazing day today. Mario raced his RedLine MotorSports Yamaha R6 for the first time today and became the youngest racer in the history of WMRRA to race a 600cc bike. Mario raced three classes today and took home the win in the Open Single race aboard his Kirk Potter Racing Honda RS125GP! Way to go buddy!

Mario got to ride his new RedLine MotorSports Yamaha R6 at the AF Track Day today! Bike is awesome! The decision has been made to race the R6 this weekend at the WMRRA races. Mario will be racing his Honda RS125 as well as the RedLine MotorSports Yamaha R6 this weekend. Come on out and watch!!!

Mario got word from RedBull that he has been selected for the "Road to the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup". This is a program that allows Red Bull and MotoGP to watch a racer's progress throughout the season and at the end of the year, Red Bull will select 10 riders from all over the world to compete in a three day tryout in Europe for a spot in the coveted Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. Wish Mario luck, its gonna be a great year...

The Honda RS125 is now ready for the track. Heat cycles are complete, we hope to have the bike wrapped by the 30th of this month. Huge THANKS to the folks at JM's Detail, looking forward to seeing the bike all wrapped up. We also got the wheels/tires for the YZ250F today. Suspension will be done and back to us by Tuesday!

The end of the winter indoor season is upon us. Mario finished the season on a very sad note as we got the news that we lost a very dear and close friend (Thom Carlson) to the Alvarez family while we were at the race track. Mario was very, very shook up and even after such horrible news, was able to finish the night with a very decent showing. GOD speed Thom, you will be missed!

Mario was involved in a pretty nasty crash that saw him get ran over, and hit twice (once on the head and in the back) all in the same corner. Mario was under a lot of pain, but once the race was restarted, he was able to take 3rd place. Mario's second race was just as hard as the pain was pretty bad, however, Mario moved through traffic pretty good and got into 2nd place and went after the leader but ran out of laps. Good weekend overall. Next two weeks Mario will be getting ready for the next flat track race as well as getting ready for the road race season to start.

Today was a bit of a rought time for Mario. We chased suspension issues ALL day. However, Mario did have a successful weekend.

Mario was unable to make yesterday's dirt track races due to being very sick. He should be ready to go next weekend. He was very bummed not to be able to race, but knew that he would not be 100%. We'll see you next weekend!
